Golf Digest caused quite a stir last week when it put Paulina Gretzky, fiancee of PGA pro Dustin Johnson and daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, on the cover.

A number of LPGA players, including American Stacy Lewis, expressed displeasure with Gretzky getting the cover. Per The New York Times:

It’s frustrating for female golfers. It’s kind of the state of where we’ve always been. We don’t get respect for being the golfers that we are. Obviously, Golf Digest is trying to sell magazines. But at the same time you’d like to see a little respect for the women’s game.

Seeing all the debate the cover caused, Orlando-based photographer Cy Cyr and his friends decided to have some fun spoofing the controversial cover.

Needless to say, the results were amazing.
