After nine wins in a row, Liverpool's title juggernaut is now just five games away from sealing the most unlikely of Premier League titles.

Victories over Manchester City, Norwich, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Newcastle would secure a first league crown in 24 years for the Reds, but that hasn't stopped many from thinking of next season already.

As ever, Liverpool are being linked with transfers both in and out of the club ahead of the reopening of the window in the summer, and you can keep up to date with the latest news and rumours right here.

Around £8 million would be enough to prise Argentina defender Federico Fazio from Sevilla, according to talkSPORT, with both Liverpool and Arsenal officials rumoured to be chasing the centre-back.

The 27-year-old, seen here chasing Lionel Messi, is likely to be a part of his country's squad at the World Cup. The 6'5" defender is also believed to be a target for Barcelona, according to that report.

According to France Football (via The Express), French midfielder Yann M'Vila has been slammed by Rubin Kazan coach Rinat Bilyaletdinov for his attitude since a reported move to Liverpool in January fell through.

M'Vila is currently back in France recovering from an injury, with Bilyaletdinov reported as saying:

In January M’Vila behaved badly – one day he trained, one day he didn’t.

Maybe his agents had promised him something. He thought he was already in Liverpool.

I told him: ‘It is not your level. If you go, you will be on the bench’. He was very disappointed.

    Paulo Duarte

James Boylan of Metro reports that Liverpool are attempting to muscle in on Chelsea's efforts to sign Benfica winger Lazar Markovic.

The Serbian has been a huge hit in Portugal ever since his move from Partizan Belgrade, and the Reds are now hopeful that they can nip in ahead of the Blues to secure the signature of the 20-year-old, who already has 10 caps for his country.

The Daily Star (via Metro) place Liverpool at the centre of a Premier League tug of war with four of their rivals for the services of Sevilla left-back Alberto Moreno.

The Reds, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are all thought to be interested in the 21-year-old, who is seen by the clubs as an alternative to Southampton's highly prized left-back Luke Shaw.

However, Real Madrid are also interested in the twice-capped Spanish international, who could cost as much as £30 million.

French left-back Aly Cissokho appears certain to see his Liverpool career come to an end when his loan deal from Valencia expires at the end of the season, but the 26-year-old may have at least earned a move to another prominent club.

TalkSPORT cite reports in Spain, which claim that Cissokho has already started talks with AC Milan, with a switch to Serie A undoubtedly a good move for a committed if limited defender.
