Marc Wilmots Did Not Advise Hazard to Move to PSG

    This story does exactly what it says in the headline. Reports emerged recently that Belgium national team coach Marc Wilmots had advised Eden Hazard to move to PSG to step up to the "next level." However, The Metro have revealed, via a Belgian journalist, that that's not what he said at all, and that his quotes were taken out of context and blown out of proportion.

     

    That's that settled then.

Inter Milan Want Samuel Eto'o Back

    The Mirror's James Nursey has reported that Inter Milan are planning to bring Samuel Eto'o back to the San Siro in the summer.

    With a complete overhaul of the strikeforce expected at Stamford Bridge, Eto'o will be available when his contract expires at the end of the season. 

Chelsea Will Negotiate Romelu Lukaku Deal After World Cup

    Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are both rumoured to want the striker on a permanent basis, but Chelsea hope that a strong tournament will increase his value beyond its current £20 million mark. 

Diego Costa to Snub Chelsea for Monaco

    The Independent has reported that Monaco are preparing a £40 million bid for Chelsea target Diego Costa.

    The extra money, plus the offer of tax-free wages, could put the brakes on a deal that has seemed inevitable since last summer.

    The Guardian's Rumour Mill has reported that Chelsea are prepared to pay up to £20 million to secure the services of 20-year-old Serbian midfielder Lazar Markovic.

    The youngster can play in any position behind the striker and would provide cover in case of injury to one of the first-choice attackers.
