Daniel Bryan and Triple H have stolen the show on this year's Road to WrestleMania.

Bryan has established himself as a genuine rival to John Cena for the title of No. 1 babyface—which we haven’t seen for a long time. His opponent, meanwhile, has shown quite the resurgence in his corporate heel roleso much so that he’s arguably become the biggest heel in the business once more.

But what can we expect from the two adversaries come Sunday night?

More specifically, will we see one of these men crowned WWE world heavyweight champion when all is said and done?

Having already analysed Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena, this article speculates four possible finishes that we could see on Sunday when the Yes! Movement and The Authority collide.

Daniel Bryan Wins

Perhaps the most straightforward finish would see Daniel Bryan finally silence The Game and pick up the win on the biggest stage of them all—the safest option, if you will.

Betting odds (via Oddschecker) suggest that this is the most likely outcome, and it would be entirely justified given the storylines, as Triple H has continually held back the former indie star.

From there, Bryan would likely go on to emerge victorious in the subsequent Triple Threat match involving Batista and Randy Orton, thus earning the crown. Such a result would also be in keeping with the trend of booking the heroes to come good at the Showcase of the Immortals.

Furthermore, it would legitimately be what’s best for business, given Bryan’s soaring popularity amongst the WWE Universe.

But then again, there’s massive potential for a more dramatic twist...

Triple H Wins and Goes on to Become Champion

Surely we won’t see this happen...will we?

Triple H has always been criticised for his supposed “egomania," and thus it was the perfect troll of Internet fans when the Cerebral Assassin announced he could be inserted into the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.

Defeating Daniel Bryan after all that’s gone down would enrage many members of the WWE Universe, but for Trips to then go on and leave with the belt would likely be too much to take.

Personally, I don’t think this outcome is likely. But the very fact that it remains a possibility makes this bout all the more interesting. It would be game-changing, history-making and perhaps slightly ridiculous to see an authority figure leave ‘Mania as the company’s top dog.

But it would make an impact.

Triple H Wins, but the Decision Is Overturned

Triple H is the ultimate heel. Plus, he idolised and worked with the Dirtiest Player in the Game for a large part of his career. Thus, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him resort to cheating to put down Daniel Bryan.

Furthermore, as the COO of the WWE, he would be able to justify overruling the referee to allow the victory to stand.

But there’s one man this Sunday who would arguably have even more authority than The Game—Hulk Hogan.

As the guest host of the show, imagine the response if the Hulkster came out to reverse the decision and award Bryan the win. And given recent word from Triple H that Hogan is set to "make an impact," per the Associated Press (h/t Wrestling Inc.com), it’s possible that such a scenario could play out.

It would be a dramatic climax to say the least, providing us with a moment to savour as Triple H gets his comeuppance.

Main Event Becomes a Fatal 4-Way

On a similar note, what if the match doesn’t even have an official finish?

Many wishful thinkers have speculated that CM Punk could return to screw Daniel Bryan, but I’m not sure I see that happening. Instead, there’s always the possibility that Kane or the Outlaws could do the Authority’s bidding and interfere.

This could feasibly result in some sort of no-content ending—and thus we would be without a winner to add to the WWE title match.

Cue Hulk Hogan, once again, who could emerge to bring order and announce that both men will in fact be added to the main event, transforming it into a Fatal 4-Way.

Similar to the previous idea, this would add plenty of drama and shake things up ahead of the main event. It may seem like something of a long shot, but it’s further evidence that this match has the potential to make a colossal impact.

Conclusion

Some of these theories may seem a little far-fetched, but the underlying point is that from a creative perspective, there’s so much to work with here.

Having Daniel Bryan pick up the win would be the straightforward—and logical—outcome, but given that this is the biggest show of the year, perhaps we could be due a swerve or two.

What are your thoughts on this imminent showdown?

Will Daniel Bryan finally overcome the odds?

Or will Triple H further his reputation as the company’s biggest heel?
