WWE Wrestlemania 30 Card: Matches That Will Fail to Captivate the Crowd

WrestleMania is all about the moments that last a lifetime, iconic segments that will stand the test of time and live long in the memory for everyone who witnessed them.

This year's edition of WrestleMania promises to be a historic one, in that there are some absolutely colossal matches on show. The likes of Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H is a match that has been months in the making and will create a huge reaction from the crowd.

However, for all the good WrestleMania XXX will provide us, there will always be some things that let us down—some matches that quite simply flatter to deceive, and leave the crowd feeling flat. At WrestleMania, that is not a good thing.

Unfortunately, the fact is there are a few spots in the card this year that will provide negative reactions.

The Divas Championship Match

The Divas division has been chronically disappointing for the last few months now. A.J. Lee has been a great champion for the division, but there is precious little around her to give her any sort of a challenge.

That is why the WWE have taken it upon themselves to simply throw every single Diva into the mix for the championship match at WrestleMania XXX to almost try to crank up some sort of interest.

However, even with all the current crop of Divas involved, it will still flatter to deceive. It probably won't last very long, and the crowd just will not be into it at all.

It should really be the opening match on the card. That way, once the disappointment has occurred for WWE fans, it can be quickly forgotten.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match

The Usos vs. The Real Americans would have been a great title match. They are arguably the best two teams on the roster at this moment in time and would have delivered a solid effort for the fans, even if it was on the pre-show.

However, throwing two other teams into the match just seems a bit forced. Especially when those teams are Los Matadores and Ryback and Curtis Axel.

The men formerly known as Primo and Epico have little or no right to be involved with a championship match at this moment in time. Their run as Los Matadores has been a complete disaster, and they will almost certainly fail at WrestleMania XXX.

Ryback and Curtis Axel are a slight improvement, but even then, they would have been more useful being placed in the Battle Royal later in the night.

With so much dismal talent on show, it waters down the true competitors. The crowd will become bored quickly, unfortunately.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

It was difficult to decide whether to include this match, because it could quite easily go either way. If the right men are left in the Battle Royal at the end, it will no doubt be an interesting finish.

However, you have to argue that the early stages of this match will be pretty dull. A quick run through of some of the names involved in the contest gives you an idea of that.

Santino Marella, Brodus Clay, Jinder Mahal, Heath Slater. Is that really the caliber of guys the WWE are going to roll out in a WrestleMania match?

Sure, it gives everyone an opportunity to have a go at competing on the biggest stage of them all. But the crowd won't buy into it whatsoever, at least until the latter stages of the match.

The final minutes will be pretty interesting, but the bulk of the match will flatter to deceive.
