According to the New York Daily News, Roger Clemens has a whole new serving of trouble and potential lawsuits on his plate.  It is being reported that he has been involved in a 10-year affair with country star Mindy McCready.

Rusty Hardin, Clemens' attorney, has already denied these rumors in a statement saying that the 10-year affair did not involve sex.  Hardin also said that the defamation lawsuit that Clemens has against his former personal trainer Brian McNamee has nothing to do with these new allegations.

One has to wonder tough, if this story is being leaked by McNamee.  Now that Clemens is putting McNamee through all these legal woes with the defamation lawsuit, when many already believe that Clemens is a liar anyway, could McNamee be leaking more information that could potentially be damaging to Clemens' reputation?

If Hardin did not deny the alleged affair, yet he denied that the affair involved sex, who is there to trust at all out of the Clemens camp?  In a statement, Hardin said that McCready is no more than a close family friend, who Clemens has never had any inappropriate relations with.

The saga continues in the war of words for Roger Clemens and company.
