Robert Griffin III Keeping No. 10 Jersey Despite DeSean Jackson Signing

Shortly after the Washington Redskins signed DeSean Jackson, the question arose as to whether Jackson would attempt to wear the No. 10 jersey he wore in Philadelphia—the same number of starting quarterback Robert Griffin III.

Jackson did not give a definitive answer, but according to RG3, we can all stop wondering:

It's highly unusual for a quarterback, especially a starting one as notable as RG3, to just hand over his number, so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that he's got a firm grip on that No. 10.

According to Darren Rovell, Jackson jerseys featuring the number 11 are already being manufactured in Washington, D.C.

Jackson wore No. 1 while in college, but wide receivers aren't allowed to wear single digits in the NFL. It looks like we'll see Jackson in a brand new number starting next season. Any guesses on what it could be?
