Can Paris Saint-Germain Now Go All the Way in the Champions League?

Chelsea's Champions League matchup with Paris Saint-Germain was billed as a clash of the egos: Jose Mourinho versus Zlatan Ibrahimovic. In the end, neither had an evening they will be keen to remember.

The Blues' manager watched his side capitulate to a well-organised possession-hungry PSG side, and decided not to play any strikers at all until Fernando Torres made a second half substitute appearance. Ibra, on the other hand, barely had an impact on the game, managing just one off-target shot, as per WhoScored.com

PSG deserved the 3-1 victory, but Chelsea will be kicking themselves for letting Javier Pastore wade through the defence to score in the 90th minute.

At the evening of the 2013 Champions League Final, I stuck my neck out to predict that PSG would make the 2014 final. Based on this season's European form, this bold forecast is still looking healthy.
