It's not a short trip from Norwich to Swansea, and the nearly 1,000 Canaries fans who made the trek to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday were then treated to a dismal 3-0 defeat.

As a token of appreciation for the support, Norwich have announced that the players will be reimbursing the admission of every fan who made the trip.

The BBC quoted Canaries captain Russell Martin explaining the decision:

All the lads really felt for the fans at the end of Saturday's game. Hopefully this will help them with the cost of travelling to our next away game at Fulham.

Good on the players for such a classy gesture.
