Jimmy and Jey Uso, better known as The Usos, retained the WWE Tag Team Championships in the pre-show for WrestleMania 30 on Sunday night. The brothers beat Los MatadoresRyback and Curtis Axel and The Real Americans to successfully defend their titles.

WrestleZone paints the picture of how the match finished:

The Usos beat the New Age Outlaws on March 3 to win the tag team belts, and the four-year WWE career for the twin brothers has reached a new height as the duo shined brightest on the WrestleMania stage.

The WWE Universe didn’t expect much from a Fatal 4-Way tag team match on the WrestleMania pre-show, but all eight participants in this bout showcased why they deserved the chance to shine.

This was the perfect way to kick off WrestleMania XXX. It certainly had the legendary Jim Ross fired up:

The Usos walked into the company’s biggest show as champions and proved why the WWE has so much faith in them. With a unique mix of high-flying action and hard-hitting pace, the brothers are two of the most popular stars in the company.

As great as The Usos have been since their feud with the New Age Outlaws, the real stars of Sunday’s pre-show match were The Real Americans. Cesaro and Swagger are two of the most gifted athletes in the company, and their development as a strong tag team will fuel their battle when the duo splits.

While many fans have questioned Los Matadores' gimmick, the duo of Diego and Fernando is great in the ring and they add an exciting element to any match they work. Add in El Torito and his silly antics, and wrestling fans can’t help but be amused.

If you don’t like Los Matadores, lighten up.

The most underrated tag team in this match is Rybaxel. Ryback was one of the brightest stars in the WWE, but porous booking sabotaged his momentum. Curtis Axel also had a monster push to start his career, but has fallen off the map.

Both men deserve better.

The lack of expectations for this match actually helped its credibility, though. Each of the teams had a chance to shine and made themselves look strong, and these men were the first WrestleMania action most fans saw all night.

This was the ideal setup for the PPV.

For The Usos, this continues their wave of momentum and adds another highlight to their success. They were expected to set the tone for this entire event, and they have proven once again why they are always able to put on a good show for the fans.
