Takeru Kobayashi Pranks Cosmos Player in Wing Eating Competition

Takeru Kobayashi made a name for himself as a record-breaking competitive eater, and it looks like he still has it.

The North American Soccer League's New York Cosmos were at a Buffalo Wild Wings in New York when the team was involved in a fantastic prank.

Midfielder Peri Marosevic, who was called the team's biggest eater, had a chance to win his team a free meal. All he had to do was win an eating contest—against Kobayashi.

The best part was that he had no idea who he was going up against.

"Kevin" did a great job of faking out the Cosmos player before kicking it into gear.
