That's the natural reaction to have, right? Hear of an abandoned newborn baby on the train and adopt it?

Sassuolo forward Antonio Floro Flores is trying to downplay claims that he's a "hero" after the former Udinese forward decided to do just that.

The baby was found stashed in a bag underneath a train seat on a trek from Naples to Avelino. When Sassuolo heard the story and that efforts to find the child's parents were unsuccessful, he decided to adopt the baby, who is named Francesco.

"After seeing the profile of little Francesco, we followed what our hearts told us," he said on Twitter, via Football Italia. "Before being a player, I am a father. I'm certainly not a hero! We are going through the regular procedures."

Flores is already the father of three children.
