As silly as it may seem, a hat may cause some tension in one family.
Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh showed up to Madison Square Garden on Sunday to watch Michigan State and Connecticut battle for a spot in the Final Four. For some reason, he decided to wear a Spartans hat.
When looking at his background, it doesn't make much sense as to why he wore the hat. John's brother Jim went to Michigan. His brother-in-law, Tom Crean, is the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers, who went 0-2 against Michigan State this season.
John likely irritated both his brother and brother-in-law by wearing the hat. Crean provided a great response to Harbaugh's choice of headwear:
I see my Bro. In Law John Harbaugh in a Spartans hat at MSG. INTERESTING. On my way to @Lids for a Patriots or a Steelers Hat. He won't mind— Tom Crean (@TomCrean) March 30, 2014
There's no topping that tweet.
