After an article written by NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks and A.J. Perez hit the web on Friday, questions about Jackson's character started swirling around. The article mentioned that the Philadelphia Eagles were uncomfortable with the star's alleged relationships with gangs. ESPN's Adam Schefter did post a statement on Facebook from Jackson, and the wideout denied that he was part of a gang.
Shortly after the article hit the Internet, the Eagles announced on Twitter that they were releasing Jackson.
