The Minnesota Wild have followed a plan this offseason.

First, the Wild hired a hockey legacy in Chuck Fletcher to become the second general manager in team history. Then, yesterday the team announced native son Todd Richards as the second head coach in team history.

The Wild next step is to bring in the assistant coaches.

The Wild have two assistants, Mike Ramsey and Bob Mason, still under contract, and one, Mario Tremblay, that has already been told he would not be retained.
