Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Wesley Charles and striker Charles Gbeke were handed down suspensions by both the United Soccer League and the club for their on-field altercation during last Friday's 3-2 victory victory over Miami FC and subsequent locker room fight.

The two were suspended for one game by the United Soccer League, an additional game by Vancouver Whitecaps FC, and fined an undisclosed amount by the team.

The Whitecaps are on the road the next two games and will be playing the Montreal Impact on Saturday and Cleveland City Stars next Tuesday.
