Kevin Pietersen Looks in Good Touch in Surrey Nets as England Struggle at WT20

England go into their second World Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka on Thursday knowing that defeat could all but spell the end of their campaign. Meanwhile their former star player Kevin Pietersen is in the nets for Surrey and looking in great touch.

England won the World T20 in the Caribbean in 2010, with Pietersen the star of the show with the willow.

In February, he was axed from all three formats as England looked to move on from a devastating tour of Australia.

Since then, England has played six T20 games (two of which were warm-ups and not counted as official), losing five of them.

Could they do with KP? One thing is for certain: Surrey won't mind having him around instead.
