Brazilian giants Corinthians will surely win a few more fans with this classy gesture.

To commemorate World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, Corinthians signed Caio Tadeu Batista, a 26-year-old footballer who competes for the Brazilian national futsal team for those who suffer from Down Syndrome.

Batista trained with his new Brazilian team-mates, participated in a press conference and was given a custom Corinthians shirt. He filmed the whole thing with a GoPro camera, and the results are amazing.

Two days later, he lined up alongside Corinthians for their match against Atletico Sorocaba and shook hands with the opposition as part of the starting XI. After the ceremonial kick-off, he exited the scene to applause and saluted his new fans.

Corinthians went on to win the match 3-0.
