Daily Talking Point Debate: Will United or City Win Manchester Derby?

There have been few highlights for Manchester United supporters in a disappointing season for the Red Devils.

Arguably, one of the worst moments came earlier in the Premier League season when David Moyes' team were comprehensively defeated 4-1 by neighbours and rivals Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

United have since fallen off the pace for a Champions League spot, suffered an early FA Cup exit and missed out on an all-Manchester Capital One Cup final with a penalty shootout defeat to lowly Sunderland in the semi-finals.

Since the awful display in the 3-0 home loss to Liverpool earlier this month, though, United have shown signs of life after overturning a two-goal deficit in the Champions League last-16 victory over Olympiacos and Wayne Rooney's double in the win at West Ham on Saturday.

While United have struggled, City have maintained their title challenge this season under Manuel Pellegrini after picking up the League Cup earlier this month.

But the form which saw off United, Arsenal and Tottenham in big wins earlier in the campaign only returned in the 5-0 victory over Fulham at the weekend.

Both clubs appear to be hitting form again now, but who will run out as winners at Old Trafford on Tuesday night? United or City?
