When the national media realised that Ole Miss 2008 season was no fluke after the beating the Rebels handed the Red Raiders they began to ask one question. Now that Ole Miss has a quarterback and great coach can they handle what has doomed both the university and the coach. That is the hype.

I believe Ole Miss will handle the hype is simply because the team has to much experience on the losing side to ever want to go back. What I am trying to say is after the 4 straight losing seasons ole miss fans and players will do whatever it takes for that to never happen again.

What about the Coach Nutt? In his years at Arkansas he had quite a few years were his team was suppose to be a contender and did not happen. What is not shown is all the injuries that happen over those seasons to key players that make it very hard for even the best coach to win in the sec. Even though Arkansas does have a nice football facility it is not ole miss and there is no team in the country that has a backing by a more powerful football family than The Manning's.

With more resources than a government aided investigation Coach Nutt will be able to push his players and use his motivational skill to keep Ole Miss in the top of the polls throughout the year.

Ole miss will handle the hype simply because on campus there is not hype or questioning of will we make it to a bowl. Everyone at ole miss knows to not over estimate any team because we were that team last year at Florida. Also, the players did not receive rings for the cotton bowl championship. Meaning they are hungry for not only one ring but 2 this season.
