Brazilian Midfielder Izaldo Scores Own Goal at 2nd Attempt

Brazilian midfielder Izaldo very nearly scored an own goal for Nautico against Santa Cruz at the weekend but managed to knock the ball into his own net at the second attempt.

In a bizarre passage of play, his first "effort" clattered into the crossbar as he tried to deal with a cross.

But the ball came back across moments later, and Izaldo, in trying to head the ball over the bar to safety, managed to knock it into his own net.

Nautico went on to lose the game, 5-3.
