No sooner had Cristiano Ronaldo scored to put Real Madrid 3-2 in front in the Clasico than Lionel Messi hit back with a spot-kick of his own.

The Argentine got his chance after Sergio Ramos was adjudged to have fouled Neymar as he broke through on goal. Ramos was sent off, although there was again controversy as it was hard to detect contact on the Spaniard.
