Arsene Wenger was being feted before his 1,000th game for his long and distinguished career at the Gunners. People were happy to forget the bad moments.

And then he presided over a 6-0 defeat to Chelsea, and people were happy to forget the good moments.

#WengerOut has seen some use as a hashtag in recent times (to little effect), but perhaps that's because the phrase hasn't been put into sticker form yet?

Loool can you believe #WengerOut stickers being printed already. What a joke!! pic.twitter.com/9jraagBGId

According to 101 Great Goals, some were already doing the rounds during Bayern Munich's dismantling of Arsenal in the Champions League earlier in the month.

A previous protest in 2012 involved putting bin bags on seats. And was not exactly a triumph.

Next up: wristbands?
