Is Now The Time For The Brewers To Offer Prince What He Deserves?

I am just throwing this up there for discussion more than anything and I want to know what the readers think.

Is now the time for the Brewers to offer Prince Fielder a large contract. He is batting extremely close to .300 this year and has now proved, to me after last nights performance, that he can handle the pressures of being a top tier player and has now solidly established himself as the second best player on the team.
