The ECW Epics theme, Epic by Faith No More, plays as the show gets underway.

Tazz:
Hello and welcome once again to ECW Epics. We’ve got a great show for you tonight.

Paul Heyman’s music hits and he walks to the ring with his assistant, Tiffany.

Heyman:
I have some exciting announcements for all the fans watching here and worldwide. Tonight, there will be an exhibition match to demonstrate just how far the participants in the Monsters Ball at The Bash will go to be the winner. It will be a no disqualification match, which will continue until I say so.

Also, L.A.X. approached me earlier today and requested a match tonight against the team of Hawkins and Ryder. I agreed, and so tonight there will be a tornado tag team match between them.

Matt Striker:
It looks like we’re in for a huge night of entertainment here tonight, folks. Buckle up, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!

Match One: Batista vs. Umaga

Display_image

Batista strikes Umaga several times to the head. Umaga tries to shake it off as Batista runs the ropes. Umaga picks up Batista on the return and hits a Samoan drop.

Umaga picks up Batista and whips him into a corner, quickly followed by a body splash. Umaga steps backwards and runs at Batista again. Just as he gets close to Batista, Batista explodes from his position and connects with a clothesline.

Batista advances on Umaga and grabs a leg. Batista locks in a figure four leg lock! Umaga starts yelling in Samoan and writhing in agony. He eventually breaks the hold and gets to his feet in a fit of rage.

Umaga goes for a Samoan spike, but Batista ducks underneath it and counters with a spinebuster. Batista walks over to the ring rope and performs his thumbs up, thumbs down taunt. Batista turns around as Umaga is getting to his feet, and he hits him in the ribs with a huge spear! Batista goes for the cover. One, two, three!

Winner: Batista

Gregory Helms is in the locker room with Cactus Jack

Helms:
I've been told that you aren't having a match tonight. Is that because you're still recovering from that Killswitch last week onto the exposed concrete floor?

Cactus Jack:
Last week I was savagely beaten by the man that I'm ashamed to say is our ECW champion. The assault left me with a severe concussion and it was uncalled for, so I went to Paul Heyman and told him what I thought. He was kind enough to sympathize with me, and so tonight as a way of compensating for what happened last week, I will get to choose Christian's match type tonight!

(Crowd emphatically boos Cactus Jack)

Helms:
Wow! That's quite a big responsibility to have. What's your decision?

Cactus Jack:
I've decided that tonight Christian will be facing not one, but two opponents. It will be a two-on-one handicap match between "The Instant Classic" Christian and The Hart Dynasty!

Helms:
That's not really fair on Christian! I mean, how is he supposed to defeat two superstars in the same match?

Cactus Jack:
Well, he should've thought of that before attacking me last week! I don't like your tone, Helms. You sound like you're on his side, and I don't like people on Christian's side!

Cactus Jack goes nuts, repeatedly jabbing Helms until Helms goes limp and falls into unconsciousness. Jack steps over Helms' body and walks out of the room.

Match Two: Chavo Guerrero vs. Suicide

Display_image

The bell rings and Suicide is right on the attack. He runs at Guerrero and hits a front dropkick, which sends Guerrero into the corner. Suicide headbutts Guerrero in the chest and Guerrero staggers out of the corner while holding his chest.

Suicide then hits Guerrero with a springboard elbow attack. Guerrero (now on the canvas) pulls himself to his feet by the ring ropes.

Suicide runs at Guerrero and they both go over the top rope and onto the floor below. Suicide is the first to get up and rips the cover off an announcing table. The referee starts his 10 count.

Suicide picks up Guerrero from the floor and whips him into the steel steps. The steps go flying and Guerrero is sprawled out on the floor.

Suicide picks up Guerrero again and drags him over to the announce table. He repeatedly rams Guerrero's head into the table, knocking Guerrero out. The referee is up to eight in the count, so Suicide rolls into and out of the ring to break the count.

Suicide climbs onto the ring apron and hits a springboard moonsault from on the middle rope. Suicide and Guerrero both crash through the table, which splinters into a thousand pieces. Neither man moves and the 10 count is up.

Winner: No contest

Tazz:
I tell you what, Matt. Suicide really lived up to his name in that match. I just hope that both men are okay.

Paramedics rush to ringside with stretchers ready. We go to a commercial break as the medics strap the superstars into the stretchers and wheel them backstage.

Segment Three

London and Kendrick's music goes off and the duo run to the ring in their classic entrance. Kendrick grabs a microphone and calls out Rey Mysterio.

Mysterio walks out onto the stage along with Evan Bourne.

Kendrick:
Last week I had to wrestle your lackey, Evan Bourne. I think it’s only fair that you take on my tag team partner at the Bash, the Paul London.

Mysterio:
All right, I can respect that. I'll take him on in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!

Kendrick:
Fine by me. Either way, you're gonna need a stretcher once The Paul London is finished with you!

The General Manager's assistant, Tiffany, appears on the titantron.

Tiffany:
On behalf of Paul Heyman, I'm approving this match. Not only will it go ahead, but it will be tonight's main event!

Both members of the match have a determined look in their eyes as we go to a commercial break.

Match Three: Hawkins and Ryder vs. L.A.X. (Tornado Tag Team Match)

Display_image

Hawkins goes straight after Homicide as soon as the match starts. He connects with several lefts and rights before Homicide reverses and hits back with an elbow before kicking him in the gut. Homicide then hits him with a cutter and lays him out on the mat.

Hernandez grabs Ryder and lifts him above his head. Hernandez sets up for the border toss, but then he approaches the corner, turnbuckles, and climbs to the top.

On top of the corner, Hernandez holds Ryder high above his head and throws him in a Border Toss, directly on top of Hawkins, who's still lying on the canvas.

Hernandez follows up with a body splash from the top rope and pins both Hawkins and Ryder! One, two, three!

Winner: L.A.X.

Tazz:
What a dominating performance by the Latin American Xchange! Hawkins and Ryder have been beaten by the better team.

Segment Four

R-Truth is in the locker room, warming up for his match. He pumps himself up, walks out of the room, and heads toward the ring.

Just as he turns a corner, he gets hit in the gut by a metal pipe. R-Truth doubles over in pain and gets struck on the back of the head repeatedly. There's blood streaming from where he was hit.

The pipe drops to the floor with a clang and the camera pans around to see Booker T. Booker has a sly grin on his face as he walks away.

(Commercial break)

Match Four: R-Truth vs. Booker T

Display_image

Booker T. is standing in the ring, ready to wrestle. Paul Heyman is at ringside to oversee the match.

R-Truth's music hits and the ring announcer introduces him. Seconds pass by and still no sign of R-Truth. Heyman climbs into the ring and tells the referee to ring the bell. The referee signals for the match to start, and still R-Truth hasn't shown up.

The referee has no choice but to start the count.

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven...

R-Truth emerges from backstage with a bandage around his head, while clutching his stomach. He staggers across the stage and down the ramp.

Eight!

R-Truth is gritting his teeth and trying to run to the ring.

Nine!

R-Truth grabs the ring apron and manages to pull himself into the ring.

Booker T runs off the ring ropes and hits R-Truth with a scissors kick. Booker goes for the pin.

One, Two!

R-Truth somehow musters the strength to raise a shoulder as the ref's hand was coming down for the third.

Heyman is outside the ring pacing back and forth. He grabs a steel chair from the timekeeper and throws it to Booker. Booker smashes R-Truth square on the head with an almighty crash. R-Truth's eyes roll into the back of his head as he collapses on the mat. Booker T. goes for another pin.

One, two, three!

Winner: Booker T.

Heyman climbs into the ring after the match with a microphone and celebrates with Booker T. He then walks over to R-Truth, who's still on the ground.

Heyman:
There. You had your chance, now once and for all, get out of my arena!

Security come to the ring and haul R-Truth away.

Match Five: Christian vs. The Hart Dynasty (two-on-one Handicap Match)

Display_image

Christian and David Hart Smith start the match. Natalya Neidhart is at ringside to support her boys. The bell rings and the match has officially started.

The two approach each other with arms extended, about to lock up. Smith ducks around the back of Christian and connects with a German suplex. Christian is surprised by the sudden move and is now lying on the mat.

Smith picks up Christian's legs and tries to lock in a sharpshooter. Christian manages to fight him off and connects with a huge DDT. Christian tries to lock in a cloverleaf but Kidd comes into the ring and delivers a wicked kick to Christian's skull.

With Christian down, Smith crawls over to Kidd and tags him in. Kidd jumps over the top rope and goes on the attack. He hits Christian with multiple kicks to the ribs and lower back. Christian grabs Kidd's leg and trips him.

Christian climbs to the top rope when Natalya distracts the ref and Smith comes in to the ring and shoves Christian off the top turnbuckle, and onto the floor.

Kidd rolls under the bottom rope and goes over to Christian. He picks him up and pushes him back into the ring. Smith comes over and lifts Christian in a bear hug. Kidd runs the rope and The Hart Dynasty hit a Hart Attack.

At that moment, Cactus Jack rushes the ring with a barbed wire two-by-four at the ready. He belts into Christian with it and the ref calls the match off.

Winner: Christian by DQ

Cactus Jack continues the onslaught, scraping the barbed wire across Christian forehead, ripping at the flesh. Jack keeps attacking for the next few minutes.

Cactus Jack leaves a massacre in the ring as Christian is left in a pool of his own blood.

(Commercial break)

Monsters Ball Exhibition Match

The bell rings and the match is underway. Each wrestler immediately jumps to the outside and reaches under the ring.

Dreamer grabs a garbage can and throws a few kendo sticks into it. Abyss pulls out a small black bag and puts it in the ring. Sabu gets a table and sets it up across the ring to the barricade. Raven and Kane both get chairs and roll back into the ring.

Kane gets attacked by a steel chair and drops to the mat. Dreamer wedges a garbage can on to Kane's upper body and proceeds to unleash a barrage of hits with a kendo stick in each hand.

Abyss climbs into the ring and picks up the small black bag. Raven runs at him and Abyss swings at him. The bag hits Raven on the side of the face and it draws blood. Raven reels backwards from the attack and grabs at his face. Abyss empties the bag onto the canvas to reveal thousands of thumbtacks.

Raven grabs a discarded chair and sets it up in the middle of the ring. He walks up to Abyss and slaps him across the face. Abyss gets angry and chases after Raven as he's backing away. All of a sudden Raven drops and hits Abyss with a drop toe hold on top of the set up steel chair.

Sabu is outside the ring fighting with Dreamer. Sabu grabs Dreamer's head and smashes it against a steel ring post. Dreamer is out on his feet, and Sabu brings him over to the table and lays him on top of it. Sabu climbs into the ring, jumps off the chair that was already setup in the middle of the ring, onto the top rope, and hits a leg drop onto Dreamer and through the table.

Dreamer and Sabu slowly get up and fight their way into the ring. Dreamer pushes Sabu into a corner and unleashes a fury of punches, wearing down Sabu.

Dreamer has a kendo stick in his hand and is about to hit an exposed Sabu with it. Kane has both Raven and Abyss in front of the pile of thumbtacks. He lifts them up in a double chokeslam. Just at that moment, Paul Heyman runs onto the stage yelling at the wrestlers.

Heyman:
Wait, wait, wait, wait, WAIT! Stop the match! That's enough!

Kane drops Abyss and Raven and they scramble to the outside of the ring. Dreamer drops the kendo stick and climbs through the ropes to the floor below.

Main Event: Rey Mysterio vs. Paul London

Display_image

The two lock up and the crowd is on the end of their seats in anticipation for what is sure to be a great match.

London seems to have the advantage on Mysterio as he drives him backwards toward the corner. London pushes against Mysterio while they're in the corner. The referee comes over and tells London to break the hold. They both break the hold very cautiously and London gets in a cheap shot that Mysterio wasn't expecting.

Bourne is at ringside supporting Mysterio and he's pleading him to fight back.

London goes on the attack with kicks to Mysterio's mid section and head. Mysterio slumps to the floor and gets stomped several more times before London eases up. London goes over to Kendrick and gives him a high five in celebration.

London goes back to Mysterio, but Mysterio is just playing possum and hooks London into a roll up pin.

One, two! Kick out.

Mysterio gets up and launches a counter offense, striking London with a couple of elbows and a hurricanrana.

Kendrick climbs up onto the ring apron to distract the ref. The ref walks over to him and tells him to get down. While the ref's back is turned, London stands up and kicks Mysterio with a low blow.

Mysterio drops to his knees in pain while holding his crotch. London bounces off the ropes and lands a front dropkick on Mysterio. London quickly jumps to the top turnbuckle, points at Bourne, and sticks his finger up at him, then hits Mysterio with his own version of a shooting star press. London goes for the pin.

One, two! Mysterio gets a shoulder up.

Kendrick starts yelling at the referee from on the ring apron, complaining that it was obviously a three count and that he should count faster. Mysterio sees Kendrick standing there and takes this opportunity to dropkick him, sending Kendrick to the floor outside.

Evan Bourne leaps up the corner turnbuckles, points at London, and lands a shooting star press on Kendrick. Meanwhile in the ring, Mysterio is still next to the ropes facing the outside. London runs at Mysterio, who hits a drop toe hold onto the middle rope.

(Crowd cheers because they know what's coming next)

Mysterio runs to the opposite ropes, bounces off and hits a 619 to the face of London. Mysterio follows up with a springboard cross body and a cover.

One, two, three!

Winner: Rey Mysterio

Mysterio goes to the outside to help Bourne, and the two walk to the backstage with their arms raised in triumph.

Kendrick and London are left to recover as the screen fades to black.

That's the end of this week's edition of ECW Epics!
