Steve Smith Takes Out Ad to Thank Panthers Fans in Charlotte Observer

After spending 13 seasons with the Carolina Panthers, wide receiver Steve Smith decided to take out an ad in the Charlotte Observer to thank all of the fans in what was a very classy move by the NFL veteran.

In the ad, Smith talked about his time in Carolina, saying, "I will always consider myself a Carolina Panther. And I look forward to the day when I get to come home to celebrate my career, and retire in the city I've grown to love and appreciate very much.”
