Baylor won their game 74-60 led by senior forward Cory Jefferson, who had 16 points and six rebounds against the Cornhuskers.

The Bluejays defeated UL-Lafayette 76-66. They were once again led by the Big East Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year Doug McDermott, who scored 30 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
