Ray Allen scored 18 points off the bench and the Miami Heat ended their game with the Memphis Grizzlies on 14-2 run to pull out a 91-86 win on Friday night.
With the Heat's big three struggling, Allen provided a huge lift off the pine, going 7-of-14 from the floor and hitting a pair of three-pointers in 31 minutes.
Zach Randolph led the Grizzlies with 25 points and 14 rebounds and was the victim of some questionable officiating down the stretch, as he was clearly smacked in the face by Wade on key possession late in the fourth quarter but did not get the call.
Marc Gasol left the game in the third quarter with a sprained left ankle.
Miami overcame a 43-34 rebounding deficit and was outscored 58-34 in the paint.
The Heat shot 46.7 percent from the floor. Memphis hit on 45.6 percent of its shots.
Miami was down 84-77 with 3:59 remaining before closing with a flurry. The Grizzlies did not score again until there were 21 seconds left.
