Saint Louis 83, NC State 80 - Final Score (OT)
Saint Louis trailed by 14 points past the midway point of the second half, but it rallied behind a stellar second half by Atlantic 10 Player of the Year Jordair Jett to complete a comeback victory over NC State. Jeff finished with 18 points, while Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year T.J. Warren fouled out in overtime with a game-high 28 points.
The Billikens were able to erase the massive deficit by forcing turnovers with their full-court defense and continuously fouling the Wolfpack, who went just 20-of-37 from the charity stripe. Warren got to the foul line most often, but only made 6-of-14 attempts.
The two teams combined to miss 31 free throws.
Senior big man Rob Loe turned out to be the difference for Saint Louis. His 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including four three-pointers, gave the Billikens the edge they needed to survive the upset.
