WWE WrestleMania XXX may feature a pair of debuts in addition to the title bouts and in-ring chaos already on tap.
The latest backstage reports, hints from Twitter and comments from the Superstars themselves point to the possibility of a TNA Hall of Famer entering his first WrestleMania. They may also suggest a potential match for The Shield and offer insight into who else may join the event's Battle Royal.
In addition, Hulk Hogan hinted that he may be up for more than just hosting duties at "The Showcase of the Immortals."

Sting at the Superdome?
The rumor mill had slowed regarding Sting signing with WWE, but recent word should have fans of "The Icon" looking forward to WrestleMania even more. There is reason to believe that's when he will make his first appearance for the company.
PWInsider, via WrestlingInc.com, reports the following:
There are people within WWE who believe that Sting has just signed a deal with WWE and will be debuting on the night of WrestleMania XXX. However, at the same time, there are also people who deny that report.
To combat the uncertainty in that report, one only needs to look at the WrestleCon schedule.
Sting will be in New Orleans as part of this year's WrestleCon. The event's official website notes that Sting will be doing a signing appearance midday on Sunday, April 6.
That puts him in WrestleMania's host city the day of the show. This is no guarantee that he'll show up at "The Show of Shows" but will do plenty to heat up rumors of him finally becoming a WWE Superstar.
How the Tag Teams Fit on the Card
Several singles matches are set for WrestleMania, but there are prominent tag teams who don't have an official spot on the card yet.
The Usos don't have challengers for their titles. Zeb Colter certainly believes that The Real Americans have earned an opportunity against the champs.
The Shield, on the other hand, appear headed for a six-man bout. The group continues to clash with Kane, most recently triple-powerbombing him on Monday's Raw.
Word on who will join the Director of Operations is unclear.
According to TribLive.com, WWE is considering a match between The Shield and Kane with The Ascension from NXT.
Viktor and Konnor, the current NXT tag champs, would make a good fit with Kane. They have a Undertaker-esque look, and their success at Full Sail University makes it logical that Kane would call on them.
Another possibility is floating around, though.
Wrestling Observer Newsletter, via WrestlingInc.com, reports that the current WrestleMania lineup includes "a six-man match with Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose taking on Kane and The New Age Outlaws."
KANE AND THE MIDDLE AGE OUTLAWS VS. THE SHIELD WM?— typicalROHfan (@typicalROHfan) March 18, 2014
The New Age Outlaws have seemingly faded away from their feud with The Usos. Their ties with Triple H and The Authority make this a likely scenario, Kane getting one set of goons to take on the ones who now refuse to take orders.
But this match is not as fun all three members of The Shield battling each other, and it looks to be a waste of the trio's second WrestleMania.
The above Wrestling Observer report also adds that Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were considered as The Shield's opponents, but they may end up in the Battle Royal instead.
Battle Royal Notes
The 30-man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is less than half full. Fans who read the week's SmackDown spoilers already know who else entered that match, but there are still a number of spots open.
As of now, WWE.com lists the following as entrants:
- Titus O'Neil
- Big Show
- Dolph Ziggler
- Alberto Del Rio
- Big E
- Mark Henry
- Damien Sandow
- Curtis Axel
Darren Young mentioned joining the fray in an interview with Byron Saxton on the WWE App. In order to continue his feud with O'Neil, count on that becoming official soon.
The more enemies that populate this contest, the better.
Young will likely have to contend with Rey Mysterio as well. Mysterio spoke with Antena3.com, via WrestlingInc.com, and said, "I think I will have a place in the battle royal in honor of Andre The Giant."
He's probably right. With as many spots as WWE has left to fill, it's hard to imagine Mysterio getting left out.
Should Harper and Rowan join him, his chances diminish greatly. The Battle Royal field continues to add former world champs and big bruisers.
It's set to be one of the more intriguing offerings come April 6, with or without Sting added to the mix.
