The top-seeded Arizona Wildcats are a perfect 6-0 against the spread in their last six NCAA tournament games.
But to run that against-the-spread streak to seven in a row, they'll have to cover a big number when they go against another pack of Wildcats, from Weber State, in West Region action on Friday afternoon in San Diego.
The top Cats are favored by 20 points, but they have covered four straight double-digit spreads.

Why pick Weber State to cover the spread
After getting snubbed by the NCAA last year, the Wildcats are back for the first time since 2007. Despite a 3-4 finish, Weber State won the Big Sky regular-season title, then took the conference tournament.
Weber State started just 2-5 this season, but two of those losses came against BYU and UCLA. A 12-2 run then put them in good shape in their conference race.
No. 16 Weber State starts three seniors, led by guard Davion Berry (19 points per game) and center Kyle Tresnak. Berry can shoot, hitting at 48 percent from the floor this season, including 39 percent from three-point range.
Why pick Arizona to cover the spread
Arizona is back in the NCAA tournament for the second straight year, having won the Pac-12's regular-season title before losing the conference tournament championship game to UCLA.
Arizona owns 13 victories this season over teams that made the tournament, including San Diego State, Duke, Michigan, UCLA, Stanford and Oregon. Three of its four losses came against tournament qualifiers. The No. 1 Wildcats are shooting 47 percent from the field this season, while holding foes to just 38 percent shooting.
And they own some positive spread trends like 4-0 ATS laying double digits and 6-0 ATS in tournament games.
Smart betting pick
Arizona will play the bully in this matchup, favored by a big number. But Arizona has one problem—it's only shooting 65 percent from the free-throw line as a team.
And free throws come in handy when trying to cover big spreads. In a close call, take Weber State, plus the points.
Weber State Wildcats: No. 30
Arizona Wildcats: No. 6 (per Odds Shark power ranks)
