Two guys prominently associated with the Washington NFL franchise watched their respective business ventures hit the rocks last week. LaVar Arrington’s Sideline Restaurant in Largo and Daniel Snyder’s Six Flags theme parks went under over the weekend.

You feel bad for Arrington, given his love for the area in the face of his acrimonious split with the team that drafted him. But it was bound to happen. The element of young thug life that was easily attracted to the bright lights and pretty women of Prince George’s County made for a mix that doesn’t necessarily yield revenue on a consistent basis.

As for Snyder, he just sucks. Hail indeed.
