University of Texas spring practice has begun and new head coach Charlie Strong has a lot of questions to answer.

David Ash, the starting quarterback in 2013, has recovered from the concussion that forced him to miss most of the season. He will compete with freshman Jerrod Heard and sophomore Tyrone Swoopes for the 2014 starting role.

The Longhorns defense will have to improve if Texas hopes to make an impact in the Big 12 this fall. Seniors Cedric Reed and Quandre Diggs will lead a unit that allowed more than 400 yards per game in 2013

Check out Brian Davis of the Austin American-Statesman break down what's happening in Austin for the Texas Longhorns' spring practice.
