Patrice Evra is carrying a yellow in the Champions League, meaning another booking against Barcelona on Tuesday would see him miss the final. It therefore made sense to see Mikael Silvestre line up against the rent boys today, giving him some match time against difficult opposition ahead of the semi final.

After the game today, where United were denied points due to a late penalty for the rent boys, our lads kicked off with the Chelsea groundstaff. First they couldn’t control their players, no they can’t control their groundstaff.

Patrice Evra, Paul Scholes, John O’Shea, Gerard Pique and Gary Neville were all taking part in a warm-down following the final whistle, when the Chelsea groundstaff told them to leave the pitch.

The United lads refused to move and a fight broke out, with the Chelsea stewards also getting involved.

  1. Shameful on Chelsea's part.

  2. its unfortunate, but we still have no confirmation as to how the fight broke out

  3. I believe that the United players actually started the brawl. Wouldn't move when told to to move. So shameful on United's part.

    1. Well, the pictures certainly made me laugh, though I'll agree that it's rather shameful to have grown men who are supposed to be professionals for your club acting like this. Evra is understandable as he's -- well -- Evra. The "Lampard suck my pussy" rap quite possibly brought this to a fever pitch considering the circumstances. (:V)

Glad to see the fighting spirit, but more than a little angry that it was nowhere to be found in the first half of the match but was afterward in a dustup with groundstaff. If any of them end up suspended, you can bet that what they get from Ferguson will be far worse than what the FA hands down.
