Chelsea vs. Galatasaray: Live Player Ratings for Blues & Gala
Emrah Gurel/Associated Press

After escaping Istanbul with a 1-1 draw, Chelsea welcome Galatasaray to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night in hope of being the first English club to qualify for the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals.

What's more, Stamford Bridge legend Didier Drogba will return to his old stomping ground as a member of the opposition; and while he'll show his love and appreciation for the home crowd, his first motive will be to score the goals that send the Blues packing.

Cech: A quiet outing for the Czech international; barely called upon to make a save.

Ivanovic: Got forward well, untested defensively.

Cahill: Handled any striker roaming his way with aplomb. Scored the second, killer goal.

Terry: Aerially excellent at both ends of the pitch; a big threat from set-pieces.

Azpilicueta: Worked very hard and handled Drogba at the back post very well.

Ramires: Ran hard, but had little impact on the game from central midfield.

Lampard: Some good runs and strong set-pieces from the stalwart.

Willian: A real threat tearing forward, used his pace extremely well on the counter.

Oscar: Took up intelligent positions and made intelligent runs, but doesn't look himself.

Hazard: An unstoppable dribbling machine that Gala had no idea how to handle.

Eto'o: Lively on the shoulder, a well-taken goal. Creative up front.

Muslera: Fumbled the ball for Chelsea's goal, parried a corner straight to Cahill to score.

Eboue: A non-entity in defence; Stood and watched as Hazard weaved his way around him. Awful.

Semih: Not as solid and commanding as we've come to expect. Better in the second half.

Chedjou: A so-so performance; His marking was suspect and struggled to track runs.

Telles: Got forward well very early on, but his influenced waned quickly. Switching to wing-back didn't help.

Yekta: Tidy and solid, though not dominant.

Melo: Walked the tight-rope from the first minute with a foul. Typical Melo Yellow.

Selcuk: Must play better. Inan continually disappoints and needs to find his 2012-13 form.

Sneijder: Created a few chances early on, but like Telles, his influence waned in the first half.

Burak: Good energy on show and some good runs made, but no clear chances fashioned for him

Drogba: Won tonnes of free-kicks, but skied all his efforts and won just one header vs. Azpilicueta.
