The Netherlands opened their World T20 campaign with a comfortable six-wicket victory over the United Arab Emirates in Sylhet.
The UAE, who won the toss and chose to bat, made 151 in their innings. They were dismissed off the penultimate ball of the innings, as Ahsan Malik picked up 3-16.
Opener Stephan Myburgh hit 55 in the Dutch reply, as they reached their target with seven balls to spare.
Tournament debutant UAE lost both openers inside the opening 10 balls, but Khurram Khan (31), Swapnil Patil (23), Shaiman Anwar (32) and Rohan Mustafa (20) all made middle order contributions.
Tom Cooper, a controversial late inclusion in the Dutch squad, picked up two wickets with his off-breaks before seamer Malik ran through the lower order.
