Fernando Torres Set for Atletico Madrid Return

    Chelsea's record £50 million signing could be returning to the club where he began his career, according to Sky Sports. Torres has been linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, and he would be "receptive" to working under Diego Simeone. While the Blues are likely to take a big hit on their investment, there is a chance that El Nino could be used as a makeweight in a deal for £32 million-rated striker Diego Costa.

Inter Milan Chasing Fernando Torres

    Carles Reynolds at The Independent has reported that Inter Milan are interested in bringing Fernando Torres to the San Siro this summer.

    The Metro's Jamie Sanderson has reported that Chelsea's scouts have been watching Southampton striker Sam Gallagher in the hope of signing him in the summer.

Eden Hazard Offered Improved Contract

    John Payne at The Metro has reported that Chelsea are preparing to offer Eden Hazard a two-year extension to his current deal. If accepted, the new contract would see the Belgian paid £200,000 a week for the next five years.

Chelsea to Challenge Liverpool for Hoffenheim Midfielder

    According to The Metro, Chelsea and Liverpool have both sent scouts to watch 22-year-old Hoffenheim midfielder Roberto Firmino in recent weeks. The Brazilian has been in impressive form and could see the two clubs battle it out for his signature this summer.

Didier Drogba Back on a Free Transfer

    Martin Lipton at The Mirror has reported that Didier Drogba could be on his way back to Stamford Bridge this summer. According to the report, Jose Mourinho rates Didier Drogba above the three strikers currently available to him, and would be open to signing him on a free transfer to help Chelsea's Financial Fair Play compliance.

Frank Lampard to LA Galaxy

    Frank Lampard has long been a target for MLS side LA Galaxy, and the latest from Liam Prenderville at The Mirror suggests that a deal could be done this summer.

    According to the report, LA Galaxy are prepared to offer the midfielder a £4 million-a-year deal to tempt him to see out his career in the States. 

Ashley Cole to Real Madrid

    Tom Hopkinson at The Mirror has reported that Ashley Cole could be on his way to Real Madrid when his Chelsea contract expires this summer.

    Cole has seen his playing time severely limited, with Cesar Azpilicueta continuing to impress at left-back.

    The Englishman would be reunited with former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti at the Bernebau.
