SMU Mustangs React to Not Being Selected for 2014 NCAA Tournament

The Southern Methodist University men's basketball team entered conference championship week ranked in both the AP poll and the USA TODAY Coaches poll, via ESPN.com, but they will not be going dancing this year.

A 23-9 record was not good enough to get the Mustangs into the 2014 NCAA tournament. They lost three straight games to end the season, including a shocking loss to Houston in the American Athletic Conference quarterfinals.

Although they were considered to be a bubble team, the Mustangs were stunned when they weren't selected on Sunday:
