McCutchen Buzzed by Papelbon, Bucs-Phils Get Testy
Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Andrew McCutchen got buzzed by Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon as a Sunday exhibition suddenly turned testy before the Pittsburgh Pirates beat Philadelphia 5-0. Papelbon relieved to begin the fifth inning and retired the first two batters before squarely hitting Starling Marte. Neil Walker followed with a single and Papelbon's first pitch to McCutchen was a high-and-tight fastball, sending the NL MVP spinning out of the batter's box.
