Manchester United's poor season under David Moyes reached a new nadir with a woeful display in a 3-0 home defeat to Liverpool.

Two Steven Gerrard penalties and a late Luis Suarez strike opened up a 14-point gap between the Anfield club and their long-term adversaries from Old Trafford.

And needless to say, plenty of football fans, both of United and other teams, have had their say on Twitter.

But there was some support for the beleaguered United manager.

Not for long, though.

But it would be unfair to focus solely on United's failings.

Roll on, Olympiakos.
