Iowa State's Georges Niang took an elbow to the face while playing some interior defense against Kansas' Brannen Greene on Friday night that left him with a massive bloody cut on his face.

Niang would leave the game and head to the locker room but gave a thumbs up on his way out indicating that he was OK.

Niang finished with 25 points, seven assists and two rebounds in the 94-83 win over the Jayhawks.
