Two weeks after seeing his 280-day title reign come to an end at the hands of Adrian Neville on NXT's Arrival special, Bo Dallas stepped back inside Full Sail University for a main event match against "Big Cass" Colin Cassady.

Would he be able to regain momentum prior to cashing in his rematch clause in the near future, or would Cassady ensure that Dallas continued his losing ways?

Also on the Arrival show, Xavier Woods fell victim to a brutal assault at the hands of the "Bulgarian Brute" Alexander Rusev.

After comparing Rusev to Rocky IV villain Ivan Drago and himself to Apollo Creed, and promising a different ending to this movie, will Woods be able to use his speed and determination to outlast his much larger opponent, or will the lovely Lana watch as her charge destroys yet another foe?

Still fresh off her victory over Emma at Arrival, NXT Women's champion Paige takes on Sasha Banks in one-on-one competition. With the "Dirtiest Diva in the Game" Charlotte lurking around ringside, will Paige have a fair opportunity to defeat NXT's resident "Boss," or will Sasha score a big win to catapult herself into title contention?

With all of this and more on tap for this week's show, here is a look at what went down this week on the WWE Network.

Paige vs. Sasha Banks

In her first match since successfully retaining the NXT Women's Championship over Emma at Arrival, Paige kicked off this week's broadcast with a match against the BFFs' Sasha Banks.

Banks did an admirable job of grounding Paige and not allowing her to gain any real momentum for the majority of the match, but when the champion did make it to her feet and was able to string together some offense, it proved to be too much for NXT's resident Boss to handle.

Paige locked in the modified scorpion crosslock, forcing a tapout from Banks.

The champion's post-match celebration was limited, as Banks and fellow BFF Charlotte attacked Paige. Before too much damage was done, Natalya hit the ring and chased the heels off. She and Paige stood tall as Banks and Charlotte retreated.

    Highlights and Quotes

"I like what she’s doing to Paige. Grounding her. Slowing her down a bit." -Jason Albert (formerly known as Tensai) on Sasha Banks' offensive strategy

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and you’re seeing it right now in Paige." -Alex Riley

The awesome scorpion crosslock from Paige is one of the better submission holds in wrestling.

A very good match for the time it was given.

Paige, the undisputed breakout female star of NXT, was on display and picked up a strong victory over a very talented, very game Sasha Banks.

The post-match assault by Charlotte was a sign of things to come as she moves closer and closer to becoming the No. 1 contender to Paige's title, and the interjection of Natalya into the fray could lead to some very entertaining tag bouts in the weeks that follow.

One week after picking up a big win over Corey Graves, cameras caught up with Sami Zayn in the backstage area.

He discussed the match, claimed that the problems between he and Graves were behind them but left the door open for a potential rematch between the two of them in the future.

    Highlights and Quotes

"As far as I’m concerned, this issue’s done" -Zayn

"If he's got other issues to take up with me, I'm not that hard to find." -Zayn

A very short and nondescript promo from Zayn in which he basically shrugged off Graves but, at the same time, indicated that the problems between the two are not over if Graves does not want them to be.

With neither man involved in the NXT title picture for the time being, a feud between them is the best way to maximize their exposure and all but guarantee very good matches at the same time.

The Ascension vs. Travis Tyler and Cal Bishop

The Ascension continued to dominate competition by making short work of enhancement talent Travis Tyler and Cal Bishop.

The NXT Tag Team champions punished their opponents with devastating power moves before finishing them off with the Fall of Man for the victory.

The Ascension, via pinfall, with the Fall of Man.

    Highlights and Quotes

"The Ascension calls their method of attack total maximum carnage." -Tom Phillips on the power-based offense of the Tag champions

"That’s a heck of a compliment right there, comparing them to Hall of Famers this early in their careers." -Alex Riley on the comparison between The Ascension and the Road Warriors

"I have no idea who can knock these guys off right now. Maybe the Usos?" -Jason Albert

Look up the definition of "domination" and that is exactly what fans bore witness to in this week's Ascension match.

Konnor and Viktor destroyed the competition in a way, as pointed out by the broadcast team, that resembled the Road Warriors and, to a lesser extent, Demolition.

NXT clearly has no team that can even remotely challenge the Tag Team champions, so it should be interesting to see what direction management takes them in the weeks and months to come.

Perhaps a feud with a main-roster team would best suit them at this point.

Mason Ryan vs. Wesley Blake

Mason Ryan returned to NXT television for the first time in weeks, taking on young Wesley Blake in singles competition.

Blake surprisingly put up a tougher fight than anyone could have imagined, stunning the former Nexus member with a series of hard strikes. Unfortunately, his offense proved effective only in the short term, as Ryan fought back and delivered a cobra clutch slam for the win.

    Highlights and Quotes

"Better than Batista" -The NXT crowd

"Mason Ryan is a little different than riding a bull. A little more forceful." -Renee Young, in response to Tom Phillips documenting Wesley Blake's bull-riding history.

Ryan has improved greatly since his days on the main roster, but he is still nowhere near the worker he needs to be to return to Raw or SmackDown. After nearly a half-decade with the company, it may be time for the Welsh Superstar to cut his losses.

Blake was fine in the match and may have a future as a bruiser in the same vein as Bradshaw and Stan Hansen, but he is still very green.

Backstage Promo: Bayley, Devin Taylor, Sasha Banks, Charlotte and Natalya

Devin Taylor caught up with Bayley and asked her about her first appearance on the WWE Network. Bayley discussed meeting Bret Hart thanks to her friendship with Natalya and was watching one of his matches as she spoke with Devin.

The BFFs interrupted and mocked Hart. This led to Bayley taking the photo of Summer Rae that Sasha Banks was carrying around and mocking the dancing Diva, to the dismay of both Banks and Charlotte.

Natalya arrived on the scene to prevent any trouble, leading to the BFFs retreating.

    Highlights and Quotes

"His only claim to fame is a match that he lost." -Charlotte on Bret Hart

"Um, because I think they’re ugly and they smell like cheese." -Bayley, mocking Summer Rae's voice and insulting the BFFs

"Like, the only thing you’re famous for right now, Nattie, is drunk dialing your boss on a reality show." -Charlotte

A solid backstage segment that once again saw Natalya and the BFFs interacting, leading to what should be several matches between them in the coming weeks.

Fans were also introduced to the quirky Bayley, who should remain a major player in the NXT women's division.

The mentioning of Bret Hart and Ric Flair in the exchange between Natalya and Charlotte was interesting. Whether it leads to an appearance by either man in the coming weeks remains to be seen, but it would go a long way toward adding legitimacy to the feud.

Xavier Woods vs. Alexander Rusev

Xavier Woods made his way to the ring for his match with Alexander Rusev looking more serious, intense and determined than ever.

Unfortunately, before the match could start, Tyler Breeze made his way to the ring and argued with Woods about who would take on the Bulgarian Brute. When Rusev made his entrance, Breeze laid Woods out, leaving him prone for Rusev to attack.

Rusev dominated, as one would expect, but Woods valiantly fought back and appeared to have the much larger opponent reeling. A Samoan drop and the Accolade, however, spelled the end for Woods as Rusev continues to roll.

Rusev, via submission, following the Accolade.

    Highlights and Quotes

"Why in your right mind would you want a shot at this guy?" -Tom Phillips, in regard to Woods and Breeze's pre-match argument

"It’s not how many times you fall down, it's how many times you get back up." Jason Albert on Woods' resilience

"Perhaps the only thing saving Xavier Woods was Lana." -Tom Phillips on Lana ordering Rusev off of Woods

It is clear that the objective both in NXT and on Raw and SmackDown is to introduce Alexander Rusev to the audience in preparation for a strong push on the main roster.

That was accomplished this week, as Rusev was fairly dominant in his win over Woods, who put in a valiant effort but simply could not slay the giant he shared the ring with.

The dynamic between Lana and Rusev is interesting because it has already been established that she is the only person with any sort of control over Rusev. What happens when she finally loses control and Rusev is unleashed on a roster full of the top stars in the industry?

Backstage Promo: Adrian Neville, Bo Dallas and Devin Taylor

Devin Taylor caught up with NXT champion Adrian Neville about his upcoming rematch with Bo Dallas.

Before he could speak, the former champion interrupted and told him that he will not only end the reign of the Man That Gravity Forgot, but he will also end the terrible nightmare he has been living since Arrival.

Neville slapped Dallas to end the brief segment.

    Highlights and Quotes

"Two weeks and I get my rematch. Then this terrible nightmare can finally end. Thank goodness for my Bolievers being there for me in this trying time." -Dallas

"My Bolievers are sick of you. They're sick of your face. They’re sick of your ears. They're sick of your flips. Adrian, I’m sick of you." -Dallas

A very strong promo from Dallas, who both literally and figuratively stole the promo.

The line about being sick of Neville may seem repetitive given the fact that he said something similar prior to their match at Arrival, but it only helps to showcase just how frustrated the normally cool, calm and collected former champion is with his rival.

Colin Cassady vs. Bo Dallas

The main event of this week's show featured a rapidly improving Colin Cassady taking on Bo Dallas.

Cassady, a favorite of the live NXT audience, was a ball of fire early, but Dallas eventually showed exactly what made him champion for so long and managed to take control and keep the big man grounded.

When Big Cass did manage to make his comeback, Dallas expertly cut him off and eventually finished him with a double-arm DDT for the win.

Dallas, via pinfall, following the double-arm DDT.

    Highlights and Quotes

"You have to wonder if Bo Dallas' head is clear right now?" -Jason Albert

"There is a reason Bo Dallas held that NXT Championship for 280 days, the longest-reigning champion in NXT history." -Tom Phillips

"This is Bo's ring." -Dallas, in response to the crowd's "boring" chants

"Stupid kid!" -Dallas, after catching Cassady with a clothesline

A quality main event that showcased Dallas in his first match since dropping the NXT Championship.

Cassady was very good in his first shot at exposure on the WWE Network. He sold Dallas' offense well, made a fiery comeback and nearly upset the champion.

Unfortunately, Dallas proved to be smarter and more aware of his surroundings and as a result, he was able to use the ropes to his advantage, retake control and pick up the win.

Dallas is a very smart worker between the ropes and uses the various parts of the ring in his matches. A great heel, he remains a very valuable asset to NXT.
