The Wofford Terriers are going dancing, but senior forward Aerris Smith has played his final game for his school.

After Wofford won the Southern Conference tournament on Monday, Smith gave a very emotional interview. In it, he revealed that he would be undergoing season-ending surgery and would miss the NCAA tournament.

That news certainly puts a damper on the Terriers' celebration. However, it does give the team one more thing to play for as it looks to shock the world in March.

Smith's interview should have everyone—except the team(s) Wofford faces in the tournament—rooting for the Terriers.
