It wiped out the big lead Busch had build up on the field and puts the trucks in their pit window to not have to pit again.

On Lap 60, just about all the leaders come to pit road making the first of two stops and most took tires on the first stop.

After 62 laps, under caution after the pit stops the top five was; Braun leading, Busch second, Ickler third, Crafton fourth, and Crawford fifth.

The fifth caution would come out on Lap 64, for Fitzpatrick who would wreck in three wide action after getting loose, spinning and gets into the wall.

He had extensive damage to his truck, his crew didn't have enough time to make the repairs to get him back out, he would finish 21st, but prior to the wreck he ran a great race.

On Lap 67, Hornaday would pit under caution to get work on his truck adding more tape and bondo to the nose.

Both Skinner and Bodine would also come to pit road, which isn't bad since there's only 16 trucks on the lead lap.

On the Lap 68 restart, Busch would take the green, put some distance on Braun. Braun  in second is side by side with Ickler in third, but Ickler would get loose and lose third to Crafton.

After 72 Laps, the top five was; Busch leading, Braun second, Crafton third, Ickler fourth and Crawford fifth.

Hornaday has made it back to sixth in his bruised and battered No. 33 truck, his crew rallied stayed in the game today and showed why they are the best in the business.

On Lap 76, Busch still leads, he comes up on the slow truck of Norm Benning in the No. 57 Germain Tool Chevrolet. Busch would stay low, Braun in second would go high as they made the pass.

Unfortunately for Busch he had to check up, was all the way on the apron and Braun would pass him for the lead.

Woo, it's been a very exciting race so far with all the three and four wide racing all over the track.

After 80 laps, the top five was; Braun leads, Busch second, Crafton third, Ickler fourth and Hornaday fifth.

On Lap 90, Braun lead Busch in second by 0.802 seconds and Crafton is four seconds back in third.

On Lap 92, Braun leads, Ickler tries to pass Crafton for third, but can't make the pass as Crafton keeps battling back and they are side by side racing for the position.

Ickler would finally make the pass on Crafton for third coming back to the stripe for Lap 94 and Busch over his radio let the crew know he had nothing for the Kid.

On Lap 95, Braun leads, the best racing up front was Hornaday battling to hang onto fifth with Skinner in sixth. They battle for a lap before Skinner finally could make the pass stick and take fifth.

Sauter would have a left rear tire flat, but was able to get down on the apron and get to pit road without causing a caution flag.

Hornaday now in sixth, has to worry about Malsam in seventh and Peters in eighth as they are catching him on the track.

On Lap 98, Braun still leads, Malsam would pass Hornaday for sixth and drop Horn to seventh.

Braun would take the white flag on Lap 99, he just needs to make it back around for the win.

Braun would take the checkers, win by 1.8 seconds over Busch, gets his first career win, the 50th win for Roush Fenway in Trucks and the team's fifth win at MIS.

Braun would get the checkers from a crew member, salute the fans on the front stretch and thank owner Jack Roush for sticking with him.
