Yes its true. Many of you United fans will definitely not agree with me, but its true.
Sir Alex Ferguson may be a great manager, but, as he has proven many times, he is a terribly bad loser. I'll admit that United have had some terrible decisions go against the this season, but Sir Alex would have you believe that every game they have lost is due to bad officiating.
For example, after the loss to Manchester City at Old Trafford, Ferguson blasted the referee for "terrible officiating" another Example is their FA Cup 6th Round defeat to Portsmouth. The 9-time premier league winner and once European champion accused referee Martin Atkinson of "being on Portsmouth side".Personally i think that Pompey brilliant defensively and were highly efficient on the counterattack.
But of all the incidents that make me really sicken me, its him saying that it wasn't a penalty at Stamford Bridge. Ferguson says that Michael carrick's hand ball in the box was not a penalty because: "The boy has not lifted his hands above his body. It hit his hand, I accept that, but to give that kind of decision in a major game like that, rubbish." This is ironic because quite a similar penalty was given to Manchester United in a very important game against Arsenal, but yet the United boss did not come out saying how the referee had ruined the game with a bad call.
No, he said it was the right decision and moved along happily with the 3 points.
Sir Alex seems incapable of handling defeat well, and as is the case of all managers, this really detracts from his image. For Christs sake man, you're a knight of the British Order, act like it. Its embarrassing to see a man with such a great title accuse everyone of being against him.

Chelsea always have some awful excuse as to why they've lost a game. That wasn't a penalty against Chelsea, but the one against Arsenal was. His comments after the portsmouth game were pretty awful though.

To be fair...If you actually saw the Portsmouth game..he had every right to be furious..except the penalty..Diarra..Distin and Diop were on a mission to ensure Ronaldo never stepped on the pitch again..
He's been around for 21 years mate..He's seen it all..Like you said United fans just won't agree..

Two similar incidents according to you might not be alike according to the rule books. for me there is no similarity between Arsenal match penalty and yesterday's.
That day, gallas i guess, obstructed a ball (with his hands outside his body-way outside) which was goal bound. Yesterday carrick's hand were a lot closer to the body, he was almost on the edge of his Box and the ball was a cross and United had a contingent of people to defend it after it got past carrick. I agree though it was a "seen them given" type of penalty.
If this was a penalty so was ballack's foul on ronaldo when he cam on.
