Selfies have taken over the Internet in recent years, and now they are taking over a baseball team's uniforms.

The Kalamazoo Growlers—an expansion team in the Northwoods League—are taking their uniforms to the next level.

Update: July 24 at 1:55 p.m. ET

The Growlers are allowing fans to submit selfies to one of the team's social media pages through April 1, and they will create a jersey made up of the selfies. Kalamazoo will wear the unique jerseys on July 24, and a jersey silent auction will take place during the game.

Expansion teams need to come up with ways to attract fans. It looks like the Growlers have come up with a great way to bring in fans and promote team spirit.
