The Isotopes lose the first game of the series to Round Rock. Charlie Haeger started for the Isotopes. Haeger pitched seven innings gave up four hits one run one earned run in a 1-0 lose. Claudio Vargas pitched one inning gave up no hits no runs. Vargas is on a rehab with the Isotopes. Vargas has been on the 60 day DL for Right elbow tendinitis. Vargas has pitched for the Expos, Nationals, Diamondbacks, Brewers, and Mets. Vargas signed with the Dodgers in January. He has been on the DL since spring training.

Roster Notes
Danny Ardoin-C was placed on the DL with a Strained Right Calf. Danny strained his right calf on Sunday's game against Oklahoma while charging a on a bunt play.
Kenley Jansen-C is back on the Isotopes roster to take the place of Ardoin.
Juan Gonzalez-IF was called up from Double A Chattanooga. He takes the place of Blake DeWitt on the Isotopes roster. DeWitt was called up to the Dodgers last week.
