After a reasonable loan spell at AC Milan, Arsenal and Switzerland center half is contemplating whether to return to the Emirates or pursue his career at the San Siro.

Senderos, who came to North London in 2003 from Swiss side Servette, is a valuable member of the Arsenal squad and could of proved more than useful this season for the Gunners as they struggled defensively at times.

But with Arsenal likely to sign Thomas Vermaelen and Mahmdo Sahko, Senderos insists he does not have a place at Arsenal.

If Senderos does stay under Arsene Wenger's guidance and Arsenal do sign Vermaelen and Sahko, plus Kolo Toure and William Gallas depart then Senderos would find himself as the leader and the experienced head of the Arsenal defence. Milan have stated they will not sign Senderos permanently so staying at Arsenal would be wise.

The Swiss international would also put pressure on Gallas and Toure to perform (if they stayed at Arsenal), the 24 year old would also add depth and size to the Arsenal backline.

Personally I think there is a place for Senderos at Arsenal and I believe it would be wise for the Swiss to remain at Arsenal.
