The 2012-13 Florida Gulf Coast basketball team earned its first ever NCAA-tournament appearance and made the most of it.

As the No. 15 seed, the Eagles upset the No. 2-seeded Georgetown Hoyas—only the seventh time in NCAA history that has happened.

After defeating San Diego State in the next round, they earned a Sweet 16 appearance where they would go on to lose to Florida, but not before becoming the only 15th seed to make the Sweet 16.
