LeBron James has plenty of footwear to choose from, but he showed off a new pair when he broke out the Nike LeBron 11 Elite against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday.

The playoffs are just around the corner, so the Miami Heat superstar may be looking to get used to the new sneakers. Check them out in action:

Luckily, Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich kept his distance from the shoes while he was on the floor.

It's interesting to see that he finally wore them on the court. Last year, via ESPN.com's Darren Rovell and Michael Wallace, James wasn't happy with the shoes. He described the process of creating the shoe as "frustrating," which led to him wearing previous models.

Nike worked to "redefine" the shoes, and it looks like the company did a good enough job of making the sneakers comfortable for the superstar to wear during games.
